Bangkok – SCG Decor Public Company Limited (“SCGD”), a leading surface decoration materials provider in ASEAN, has been selected for inclusion in the “ESG Emerging List” and as a security in the ESG100 Universe for 2026, based on the assessment by the ESG Rating unit of Thaipat Institute.
This recognition reflects SCGD’s strong commitment to conducting business in line with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, while pursuing sustainable long-term growth.
The 2026 ESG100 assessment covered 931 listed securities (excluding those under rehabilitation), including real estate investment trusts (REITs) and infrastructure funds. The evaluation was based on publicly disclosed information, such as the annual registration statement/annual report (Form 56-1 One Report), as well as companies’ sustainability performance across multiple dimensions.
This achievement highlights SCGD’s approach to delivering balanced value to all stakeholders across Thailand and ASEAN. The Company has adopted the Double Materiality principle to assess key sustainability issues across environmental, social, governance, and economic dimensions—considering both the impacts of its operations on society and the environment, as well as the financial and operational impacts of sustainability factors on the business.
The outcomes of this assessment are integrated into SCGD’s risk management, strategic planning, and operational processes, and are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to drive business growth alongside long-term value creation for society, the environment, and shareholders.
