Bangkok, March 13, 2026 – SCG Decor Public Company Limited, or SCGD, disclosed that its assessment of construction and real estate business trends in the ASEAN region indicates continued growth potential, supported by its ability to competitively manage production costs despite ongoing global economic uncertainties. Accordingly, the Company has announced its 2026 business plan, moving decisively toward becoming a fully integrated ASEAN player, leveraging its strength in deep consumer understanding (Deep Customer Insight) in tandem with product innovation and advanced manufacturing technologies (Production Intelligence) to enhance business resilience and sustain long-term leadership in the ASEAN market.

Mr. Numpol Malichai, Chief Executive Officer and President of SCG Decor Public Company Limited (SCGD), stated that SCGD is committed to driving growth across ASEAN alongside disciplined cost management, with the goal of becoming an Integrated ASEAN Player through the integration of manufacturing bases, supply chain management, and regional distribution networks to operate in a coordinated and efficient manner, thereby delivering sustainable operating performance.

He further noted that Vietnam represents a strategic base for the region, both in terms of production and exports, given its strong GDP growth, competitive production costs, and significant opportunities for expansion into high-potential ASEAN markets.

At the same time, in light of potential volatility in oil and energy prices, SCGD has laid the groundwork for reducing dependence on fossil fuels and mitigating energy price risks since 2023, by continuously increasing the proportion of biomass fuel usage. In 2026, the Company will continue to advance this objective to further strengthen cost management capabilities and enhance operational flexibility.

In 2025, SCGD successfully substituted more than 13.6% of natural gas and coal consumption with biomass fuel, and aims to increase this proportion to 14% in 2026. Meanwhile, solar energy accounted for 23.5% of total electricity consumption, with a target to increase this share to 34.5%, reflecting the Company’s approach to cost management alongside sustainable business operations. SCGD has also set a target to further reduce costs by THB 80 million per year.

For 2026, SCGD has allocated a capital expenditure (Capex) budget of more than THB 2.5 billion, with a primary focus on investment in Vietnam to expand production capacity for glazed porcelain tiles by an additional 6.6 million square meters, in response to market demand shifting from conventional ceramic tiles toward higher-quality products with more modern designs. The Company also plans to expand export markets across the region under its product innovation and advanced manufacturing technology strategy (Production Intelligence), aimed at improving production efficiency through automation, cost reduction, and precise quality control to enhance long-term competitiveness.

In addition, SCGD continues to optimize its regional manufacturing footprint (Regional Optimization) to diversify risks associated with reliance on a single production base while improving overall profitability. The Company also strengthens its long-term competitiveness through the use of biomass fuel as a substitute for coal and the ongoing implementation of cost reduction initiatives.

In the sanitary ware business, SCGD continues to expand its market share in Thailand through the development of products that comprehensively address all target segments, building on its deep consumer insights. These include customers seeking innovation and convenience through smart sanitary ware that aligns with modern lifestyles, as well as value-conscious consumers through Smart Value Products (SVP), such as sosuco sanitary ware and Prema faucets, to accommodate diverse purchasing power amid a slowing economic environment. At the same time, the Company plans to continuously enhance the efficiency of its sanitary ware manufacturing facilities to strengthen global competitiveness and increase international sales over the long term.

Furthermore, SCGD plans to expand into new and related product categories within the surface decoration materials market, including SPC flooring, tile adhesives and grout, kitchen countertops, doors and windows, and bathroom furniture, targeting sales growth of more than 40% in 2026.

As of the end of 2025, SCGD maintained a strong financial position with cash holdings exceeding THB 9 billion, together with several ongoing merger and partnership projects, which the Company believes will generate stable and sustainable returns for shareholders.

SCGD remains focused on driving growth alongside disciplined cost management, while continuing to expand in line with ASEAN’s growth—particularly in Vietnam—enhancing competitiveness through product innovation, production efficiency improvements, and investment in high-potential markets, in order to maintain market share, win consumer trust across all countries in which we operate, and deliver sustainable long-term returns to shareholders,” Mr. Numpol concluded.
